Drawing formless shapes
Staring blankly at a page
Thinking, but not thinking
Of the one I adore
Seeing written words
Unable to be read
Wondering what is thought
While other words fly by
She consumes my thoughts
As long as they occur
And I want to follow suit
But the pen does not move
And the mind stills…
Until she wakes me up.
