Looking out the windows...

I believe I wrote this one while I was in Japan, so I gave it a date around the time I was in Japan since one wasn't recorded...haha. Makes sense...enjoy!


Looking out the windows
I see such beautiful sights
Amazing mountains to the left
A sparkling sea to the right
But though beauty prevails
From the earth to the skies
The beauty I long for
Shines only from your eyes.
Gorgeous places surround me
I have never laid eyes on before
Elegant words made of brush strokes
I cannot read, yet adore
I feel free in this uncertainty of what’s going on
But trapped in my longing for you while I’m gone.
