Looking down to look up

Small laughter
filling the air
with the sound
of unrestrained
joy.
An everlasting
smile
beaming
brightening
a little face.
A heart
overflowing
with love
even if
undeserved.
A role model
though undeveloped
un-achieving
inexperienced,
but more pure
than anyone
could hope.
