Pain
floods my body
so I
can hardly move.
Muscles
ache
stiffen
with every move,
fire
searing
through my limbs.
I am lost
to the never ending
torrent.
Can I prevail?
Will I
in the end
surpass
the limits
of this body
and become
a new me?
Only time
