No date. I believe I wrote this one spur of a moment in an IM chat when the person I was talking to was gone for a long time before they were leaving...I do that sometimes. Randomly write poems in IM chats...enjoy!
Goodbyes are just a moment suspended in time
Where all true feelings pour out.
But these tears, this sorrow
Means nothing, for I will always be with you
And part of my heart will always hold the memories of you.
The beautiful curls of your hair
Framing your sweet face.
Those eyes, sparkling with passion
Sorrow, joy, anger.
And when I look into those eyes
Time freezes, all else dissolves away
And nothing else in the world matters.
If only I could hold you in my arms forever
Feeling your heart race, the rising and sinking
Of every breath, living in this moment
And no other.
I will never forget you.
