Sonnet II

I don't so much like this one, I just wanted you to see that I can write with rhyme and form...haha. Enjoy!

The boquet you gave me was beautiful.
So full of life and blooming with joy.
Although that moment it seemed plentiful,
Time changes things and it will destroy.
The little seed grows to a tree
Full of beautiful flowers in the spring,
But in an instant it can no longer be
As it burns from the strike of a bolt of lightning.
And even the first beautiful flower
Though seeming grand as it peeks through the snow
Will some day approach its final hour
As it withers away and loses its glow.
So now, as tonight you lay down your head
Know that the boquet has dried, and is dead.

  1. I actually like that one :) And random fact... I LOVE dead flowers... they are so amazing and poetic... my mom thinks I'm weird.
