All seems well as she walks on down the sidewalk,
But she doesnt know the danger lurking ahead.
A silent butterfly follows in a fluttering stalk,
And as it lights upon her, she is forced to her bed.
The gentle touch of such a tiny creature,
The light brushing of its pure white wings,
Such pain has never been known to hit her,
Such anguish has never shown its sting.
But despite the fatal touch of this merciless being,
Despite its control over her very life,
She pushed through the pain without ever seeing
Pushed into her deaths gleaming knife.
Through the good and the bad, we will be with you
And no matter what happens, He will be true.
